Strick’s Day 3. 72.1 miles. Somewhere near the Arizona State Line. Our last chance was sanctuary but not a church in site. Once asked a preacher from arizona if a crook ran into his church would he give him sanctuary. He said “no, I would shoot him.” Biking against the wind. I called my daughter Lily and described the conditions and said I could only go 8 mph. She said “in conditions like that 5mph would be great.” That comment demonstrates her wisdom and perfect nature. We are getting better with all the bells and whistles on the RV though no dixie yet. Made me think about woman that gave the hour long instructions when we picked it up. Should have listened. One of those cases where you figure others are listening. I bet she gets invited to travel with “friends” a lot. Should call her to tell her she is being used. Last thought….Showers are overrated.
Overrated by whom?
Lily = wisdom and perfection
Showers = hygiene and happy travel companions
Out of the mouth of babes. Lily has a great perspective on the world.
Your fellow Walmartians should give you some good advise on using the luxuries of an RV. Otherwise try a truck stop. You will find that showers really are not overrated. Happy trails.
